A large Liverpool creamware ship jug with strap handle, one side with a coloured print of the brig 'Peggy of Maryport' wearing the red ensign, the other with a three masted man o' war wearing the white ensign with martial trophy, inscribed 'Joseph Harrison' below the spout, probably Herculaneum,circa 1800, 22cm [short hair crack to rim, small flat chip to underside of foot rim].
