A worksplate, LMS, BUILT 1943, GWR, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8412 built to Railway Executive Committee order at Swindon and loaned to the GWR in October 1943, allocated to St Philips Marsh. It left the GWR in March 1947 to be loaned to the LMS and became BR 48412. Its BR sheds included Banbury, Old Oak Common, Leamington Spa, Tyseley, Aintree and Speke Junction from where it was withdrawn in September 1966 and cut up by Drapers at Hull. Cast brass, 10½"x6", the front repainted, the engine number on the back. (Postage Band: B)
