Germany: Deutsch-Oesterreichischen Mannesmannröhren Werke, 1000 mark share, Berlin 1890, #11359 Lit A., handsigned by Reinhard Mannesmann (1856-1922), vignette of various tube products, brown and black, no coupons. The Mannesmann brothers patented a new process of producing steel tubes in 1886. The brothers left the company in 1893. Grew to become a steel and coal conglomerate but by the 1960's many of the constituent companies were sold off. Entered the telecom market and eventually acquired by Vodafone. EF. No reserve!
