A late 17th century wide flounce of Point de France needle lace, together with a narrower flounce, both with raised elements of the design in the style of Point de Rose, but less so. This lace was very popular with the French court at the time, wider length 20cm deep x 344cm long. Condition - both lengths have a few damaged area caused from use, age and laundry.
