Imperial German Seitengewehr M1898/05 Butcher Bayonet


14 1/2 inch, single edged blade widening towards the point. Wide fuller.  Forte with maker "Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie Solingen".  Back edge dated "16".  Steel turn up quillon. Steel pommel with Acceptance stamps.  Grooved, wooden slab grips.  Contained in its steel scabbard with brown leather frog.
