A comprehensive burr walnut veneer bedroom suite, comprising fitted wardrobe with mirrored doors, cupboards, pigeon holes & drawers, column mounted with carved decoration, together with a rouge marble topped washstand, a mirror back Duchess style dressing table & a bedside stand (4)
Condition: the wardrobe - 217cm high, 228cm wide (at top crest), 60cm deep (at top crest), scuffs, scratches, bruises, the door mirror plates have a touch of "silvering", particularly noticeable on top of right hand plate. Dressing table - very sun faded to left side, crack across right side top over drawers, noticeable joint separation to "key stone" veneer over mirror frame, scratches and signs of wear and heavy use. Bedside cupboard - wear and stains to top, some veneer loss / damage, feel of a crack to the right side column and marks / dents. Marble top washstand - marble top - no chips or cracks, some fading and stains to veneer particularly drawer fronts, there is some damage / crack to the veneer of the support strip, under top drawer on right. Overall condition - a good quality item removed from daily use from a local manor house, signs of use, wear and tear, still has all original handles, the mirror plated and glass panels are not cracked or broken.
