An Italian carved painted wood and gesso figural carving of St. Anthony of Padua and Infant Christ, modelled standing supporting a bible with child Jesus atop, 63cm high
Extensive paint loss and chips, full length crack running down the back of the figure with a deep gorge 16cm long running from the waist down, evidence of historic worm in the same area, historic repair on the right arm at the sleeve line there is a wedge shaped piece of timber missing, 8cm long, cracks to feet at base, also multiple joint cracks to the figure, chips and paint loss to child figure with damage to the right hand
