On square polished gilt rams head pedestal base, by Hadley, standard factory mark 1876 - 1891, the baluster shaped body enamelled in gilt with continuous French Empire motifs against a glazed blush ivory ground, scroll handles and medallions of grotesque masks, bearing impressed signature ‘Hadley’, shape 1398, reg no: 137106.
