A mid 19th century Davenport desk (possibly satin birch); the pierced three quarter gallery above a sloping fall inset with leatherette and opening to reveal five smaller drawers compartment space and pigeon holes etc and over a right-hand panelled door further opening to reveal three recessed drawers with brass swan necked handles, the opposing side with small brushing slide, with pierced decorative upright supports and raised on squat bun-style feet terminating in castors (60cm wide x 88cm highest point at gallery)
