A FIRST WORLD WAR PAIR AND MEMORIAL PLAQUE TO THE DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY. A Great War Pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 6-5507 Pte F. White Durh L.I. Plaque to Frederick White. Private White was the son of Benjamin Richard and Maud Mary White of 11A Lawrence Avenue, Manor Park, Essex. He enlisted at Leyton in Essex and served with the 1st/6th Battalion of the Durham Light Infantry and died on the 9th April 1918 and is commemorated on Ploegsteert Memorial. *CR Normal light surface marks. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
