An early 19th century mantel clock, the 18 cm diameter painted dial signed Tomlin, London, with Roman numerals, fitted a twin fusee movement, in a mahogany balloon case, crossbanded in satinwood, 48 cm high

Dial paint flaking, case split to the front, sides and back, the bell is a replacement, at the back of the case there is a protruding hinge from the back door and the back door lacks a glass or brass grill which surrounds the movement, with a small case key and a pendulum
