FIRST WORLD WAR TRENCH ART.
A shell engraved with a crown and 'Royal Engineers France 1918, with flared rim and various stamped marks to the base, 26cm high, 8.5cm wide and a lidded tobacco container formed from the base of a shell, the lid with bullet handle engraved 'Tobacco 1917'. The base 'France - Somme La Boiselle Belgium Coxyde Nieuport, P De Vry -Bruneel', the shell marked for 1915, 12cm wide 17cm tall.
