Five original watercolour paintings on card, each depicting evocative scenes of Prisoners of War during World War II. While the exact age, origins and artist remain unknown, these artworks provide a poignant and insightful glimpse into life behind the wire. Also included in the album is a photocopy of the plans for the legendary Colditz Oflag IVc glider, famously known as the 'Colditz Cock'.
The largest painting measures approximately 55cm x 38cm.
