1859 MAGENTA USED REISSUE: Used 1859 dull magenta (with no value expressed, hinge remnants on reverse) cancelled by possibly a double strike of the barred oval "B53" hs for Mauritius; if so, making it the 1862 1d reissue (SG29a £180) rather than the 1859 9d (SG29 £250). Four margins of varying width, fine example.
