A LOUIS XVI STYLE LADIES PARQUETRY WRITING TABLE. late 19th century, with unusual pull up screen to the back, shelving and leather inset writing surface over single drawer, upon tapering spiral turned supports, gilt metal mounts, height 103cm, width 65, depth 43cm.
Ink stains and wear to leather, tears and deterioration to screen material, re-glued section to back, section of moulding missing (see images), adjustable 'ratchets' broken to side of screen but it stays up on it's own.
