A 19TH CENTURY PAINTED GESSO FINIAL, the carved wooden urn shaped finial on a circular foot painted a brown/orange and silvered finish, mounted on a stepped square marbled finish base, height approximately 58cm (condition: there is woodworm damage and a number of vertical splits, some chipping through the gesso, the uppermost tip has a central hole)
