11767 PTE PG Tanswell: WWI medal pair, 14-15 star and death plaque. PG Tanswell died during the 2nd Battle of Ypres. As he was with the 3rd Bn K.R.R.C-27th Div, he was most likely killed during The Battle of Frezenberg Ridge 8th May 1915-13th May 1915. There is no known grave for Pte Tanswell therefore his name is on the Menin Gate Memorial Ypres Belgium. His brother was also killed which led to a typo of the correct initial on the memorial.
