A pair of Coalport porcelain plates, early 19th century, decorated in an Imari pattern, with gilt shaped rim, 21.5 cm diameter, along with a pearlware plate, 19th century, decorated with lilies, with a blue arcaded rim, titled 'Corn Flag' to the underside, 18cm diameter (3) (at fault)

The Coalport plates show surface wear and surface scratching, including a 10cm long scratch to the back of one of the plates. Both also show firing pits and frits, some glazing faults, rubbing to the gilt highlights (extensive to the rim), and wear to the foot rim. Both ring clear when pinged. The Corn Flag plate shows fine surface crazing throughout and rings flat when pinged as a result. The piece also shows the odd firing pit and frit.
