Roman Bronze Intagllio Ring. Circa 3rd-4th century CE. Ring size: UK, H. US; 4. A wide copper-alloy band that tappers to the base of the shank. The top of the band / bezel is set with a Carnelian stone engraved with the image of a standing figure. Found just off A64 near Scarborough. ex. Private UK collection, purchased September 2001. R.J.
