Watercolour on off white paper, the unpainted portion of which is now evenly faded, watercolour remains fair strength of colour, one or two scattered fox marks noted, laid on an old wash bordered backing with the number XLI in roman numerals top left, and a pencil inscription across the bottom, later washline mount and ornate gilt scroll frame, elaborate typed description of the work verso dating it to August 1750.
