A mainly used (unless stated otherwise) QV coln in a binder incl 1840 Mulready 1d black env to Liverpool, 1d black (6, 2 with close to good margins all around - one of which described by collector as 'mint' but looks to have been cleaned, without gum), 2d blue (3), 1841 1d red (136), plus 4 margin example unused, 1841-51 white lines 2d blue (12, mixed condition), good qty of perf 1d reds, 1870-9 ½d rose (135) plated by vendor with examples from each plate plus unused examples (10) all in a mixed condition, 1870-4 1½d red pl. 1 (3) plus unused examples (2), pl. 3 (4), 1847-54 embossed issue incl 1/- green (2, 1 cut square), 10d brown cut square with clear margins all around, 6d (2, both cut square, 1 with clear margins all around), SP range to 1881 arranged by value with useful dupl of lower values, high vals incl 1867 2/- blue (2), 1867-83 wmk MC high vals incl 5/- rose pl. 2 (some toning and few pulled perfs), pl. 4, 10/- greenish grey (ironed out horizontal crease), £1 brown lilac, 1883-4 2/6d lilac on blued paper (few pulled/trimmed perfs), on white paper (2), 5/- rose (2), 10 /- (2, 1 creased at bottom left corner, 1 toned with various signs of wear to design), 1884 £1 brown-lilac, 1883-4 lilac and green vals (with some dupl) to 1/- U, 1887-1900 Jubilee set plus colour change issues to £1 green U, etc. (See photos) (V)
