AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY APOTHECARY'S CABINET, with brass swan neck carrying handle to the top above double doors opening to reveal a fitted interior of bottles and five drawers, turned bone knobs, eight of the bottles with paper labels printed for 'Hume, Chemist, 108, Long Acre, London' with handwritten sepia chemical / drug name, the three short drawers with printed labels to the sliding covers, the long drawers containing scales, weights, glass pestle and mortar and three further bottles, the base drawer with flush fitting brass ring handle, containing eight loose Hume Chemist labels and a box of bottles, height excluding carrying handle 40cm x width 26cm x depth 18cm (Condition Report: there has been a repair to the back right hand facing top corner and a small section of wood missing, several of the stoppers are stuck and some are chipped)
