An early 20c French mantel timepiece retailed by Watherston's of Old Bond Street. The single train movement has a lever platform escapement and a 9cm diam. cream enamel dial with Roman numerals. It is contained in a mahogany waisted balloon type case with boxwood line inlay and a central inlaid shell motif. The case has a stepped base and brass ball feet and stands 24cm tall overall.
Movement is in clean going condition. Dial and glass undamaged and case in good undamaged order.
