More About the Artist: mostly known for creating rural and popular scenes that he treated with a lot of humour. He was the founder and president of the Royal Belgian Society of Watercolours in 1855. A member of the Royal Academy of Belgium & has works in the Museums of Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels, Ixelles, Liège and Saint-Nicolas.
