A tenderplate, WATER CAPACITY 4725 GALLONS, from a BR Standard type BR1D tender No 981 built at Crewe and paired new with Britannia Class 7 4-6-2 No 70047 in June 1954 but transferred to No 70049 SOLWAY FIRTH in January 1955. No further changes were recorded. Cast iron, 10¼"x6", repainted. (Postage Band: B)
