Unusual Postwar Tabletop Radio. A 'Goblin' tabletop valve radio, made by the British Vacuum Cleaner & Engineering Co., circa 1947. An attractive and unusual design with a curved wooden casing, two glass windows displaying tuning dial and clock, and four bakelite control knobs. Precursor to the famous Goblin 'Teasmade'.
