£50
An Edwardian silver mounted photograph frame, Birmingham 1909 (maker's marks worn), of rectangular form with shaped scrolling border, easel support, 28.2cm x 21.2cm
Condition is very poor. Glass is present and in tact, but is loose in the frame, leaving a gap between the frame and the glass. The mount itself is dented and heavily pierced, and is coming away from the backing along the left hand side. The fabric to the reverse is extremely worn and threadbare, and has worn away in places to reveal the wood underneath. The hinges are present and work correctly, but the pins that hold the back in place are loose. The easel support is present and working correctly.
Dimensions of aperture 15cm x 21cm.
