1689 (Jan 26) Entire letter written from Grays Inn by William Phillips, which includes "The Lords have put off the grand debate until Tuesday and have adjourned till Monday. The Princess is daily expected and its confidently said that the P. and Princess will be both crowned next week, tho I am afraid that both houses will be much divided". Addressed "For Thomas Walker Esq., in Brecon, South Wales" and signed "Frank E. Jones" with "JA/26" Bishop Mark, delivered free. Phillips and Jones were both M.Ps in the Convention Parliament which decided that the Prince and Princess of Orange should be made King and Queen, following the flight of James II and the collapse of the Government.
