An Edwardian silver part canteen of Albany type cutlery, by Marple & Co., Sheffield 1907-10 (mainly 1909). Comprising 26 table forks, 18 dessert forks, 18 table spoons, 6 serving spoons, 24 tea spoons, 8 egg spoons, 1 basting spoon, 2 butter knifes, 2 lobster picks, 12 pairs of ivory pistol grip handled and silver fish knives and forks, 12 pairs of mother of pearl pistol grip handled and silver dessert knives and forks, 20 ivory handled and steel table knives, 8 ivory handled and steel dessert knives, all contained in a six drawer oak cabinet with brass handle and initialed plaque, approximately 5900gm of weighable silver.
