A 19th century Victorian mahogany & glazed tabletop specimen display cabinet containing various antiquities & archaological fragments / finds. The cabinet velvet lined, with four glazed sides & glazed locking lid, complete with key. Containing various fragments of pottery, tiles & finds, including the neck of a 17th century Bartmann jug with Medieval mask face, two terracotta fragments of a big cat & sheaf of wheat, an African stoneware flask, a fragment of stoneware pottery featuring half a Tudor Rose, an apparently Roman pipe fragment reading Seguns, a 16th century fragment of a bottle with scenes of people, a terracotta funerary vessel, and other items.
