A DUTCH COLONIAL EBONISED CASKET 17TH CENTURY inlaid overall with mother-of-pearl flowerheads on a gilt-lacquer ground, having a hinged pagoda top, lined in fabric and fitted with a triple compartment, the fall front fitted with an arrangement of seven single and double fronted drawers with wire ring handles, the base with a drawer, white metal lock plate and oval escutcheons, gilt metal side carrying handles, 53.5cm wide x 34cm deep x 39cm high.
