BELLARMINE JUG. 17ins tall. Large size, familiar baluster body shape jug, rear hand applied handle. Delightful warm variating brown orange peel salt glaze effect, lovely drips down the back. Applied face sprig to neck - almost an inquisitive look on his face (?) plus a couple of randomly placed impressed shapes below. Some general age wear, knocks but no real damages. Another really good one. NR.
