A locomotive nameplate, SELKIRKSHIRE, from a LNER D49 Shire Class 4-4-0 No 2756 built at Darlington in March 1929, renumbered 2731 in 1946, becoming BR 62731. Its BR sheds included Starbeck, York and Selby from where it was withdrawn in April 1959 and subsequently scrapped.
