Containing an array of watercolour paint blocks, brushes and associated tools, with wells for ceramic and glass mixing vessels, ink bottles etc., a flush drawer beneath containing further paint blocks and two palettes, the lid with tooled Morocco flap compartment housing a botanical study by E. Bromfield, a colour chart and paper label stating that this was Robert Wright's Paint Box, circa-1855
