Turcici Imperii Descriptio, Abraham Ortellius c1571 Antwerpen, hand coloured map of the Turkish Empire, from the first edition of Ortelius' Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, coloured image size 19 1/2" x 14 1/2", in good order with no visible damage
Very nice condition indeed - we have not removed it from its frame, but there is some visible grubbiness around the edges from past handling. Image remains clear and bright with minor marking throughout. There is a very slight possible fold mark down the centre although it is only visible on the lower half: there is no damage to the printing caused by this.
