£130
George III satinwood and inlaid tea caddy, circa 1790, of domed casket form, the front panel inlaid with bows and vase oval inlays in harewood and boxwood, the interior with replaced covers, width 21cm, height 16cm, depth 14cm
The exterior is nicely coloured and patinated. There is a lock but no key. The escutcheon is bone. There are minor surface scratches, consistent with use and age. The interior caddy covers are replacements. There appears to be a closed horizontal split on the back panel.
