A Chinese Han Dynasty grey pottery tile, 206BC-AD220, probably from a tomb, relief decorated with a figure playing a drum, no pigments remaining, 11¼ x 6in. (28.5 x 15.25cm.), mounted in a perspex frame. * Provenance: Dragon Culture Ltd., Hollywood Road, Hong Kong, c.2000 Several surface chips to pottery and some flaking around the edges and above the figure's left eye. The surface of the tile with encrusted clay / mud deposits, which have flaked away in some areas.
