PRINTED MATTER & LETTER-RATE UNDERPAID FRANKINGS WITH HAMILTON CHARGE NUMERALS, ETC.; Remarkable 11 Jan. 1867 open-ended wrapper (short lower flap lost) franked for the Transatlantic Book Post rate with 1d Reds (2) tied by Folkstone duplexes,but underpaid for the minimum 3d (to 4oz) rate and so with "INSUFFICIENTLY/PREPAID" and superb inverted Hamilton h.s. "6" for the 9c postage due; plus 1867/9 pair of envs. ex London/Liverpool to London CW/Garafraxa 3d rose-red pair + 2 1d Reds (all with faults) tied by duplexes but also having fine boxed London "EXCG[½]/OZ/DEFICIENT POSTAGE [8]/BRITISH SHARE OF FINE [3]/11]" on the front and so with fine large Hamilton h.s. "29" due mark (partly struck over stamps & duplex), and with single 1d Red and so having v. fine "INSUFFICIENTLY/PREPAID [8]" and fine small Hamilton h.s. "23" due mark.
