Art Deco silver and yellow guilloche enamelled vanity set, Birmingham 1929, comprising hand mirror, hair brush, clothes brush, six engraved glass bottles and jars, shoe horn and three piece manicure set (with additions) in a leather wallet (13)
The mirror has some sharp dents to the edge. There are minor scratches to the enamel. There is a shallow dent to the silver side of the handle. The plate is good.
The hairbrush - there is some fine minor surface scratches to the enamel. Tiny nicks to the silver edge. Overall it is good.
Clothes brush - some scratches to the enamel. The odd small dent to the silver edge.
Shoe horn - scratches and wear to the gilt finish on the blade. There is degradation to the underside. The silver and enamel are good.
The pair of jars - one has a tiny chip to the underside foot rim, the other has a tiny chip to the inside rim. In both cases the enamel is good with only minute dings through use to the silver edge.
The oval box is in good condition. The enamel is good. There is some rubbing to the hallmark. Very minor dings to the silvered edge.
Pair of bottles - very minor pin prick knocks to the silver. These covers are metal cored and one has worn at the edge revealing the core, therefore neither have hallmarks.
Tall bottle - very minor surface scratches to the silvered edge. There is a tiny little pin price ding to the upper edge resulting in a pin prick chip to the enamel, barely noticeable. Slight nibbles to the edge of the base.
Manicure pieces - all are good. There is slight wear to the gilded finish on the blades. No further damage.
