A ship's bell 'Galatea', the 12 inch bell with arched suspension and black filled incised text, flared mouth with original clapper, 25cm high. *Notes- The name 'Galatea' has been used for many ships including eight for the Royal Navy. It was also the name of the yacht used by the Scottish challenger in the Americas Cup in 1886 against the American defender 'Mayflower'
