Pair of 19th century German porcelain figures with related arbours, the gentleman modelled with a sheep and dove, the lady modelled with a floral garland and vase of flowers, each standing on circular plinths, each with a related porcelain scrolling arbour with pierced back and stepped base, two crossed baton blue factory marks to the undersides, the arbours 11" high
The arbour stand - lattice work with some surface stress lines/cracks, there are losses to the petals, flower heads various, age related wear and fading to the colour, one with a patch of repair to the upper left rear, firing spot imperfections and wear to the gilded highlights to the stepped base, both with adapted moulded supports for each separate figure with dowel and nail mounts from the underside, the figures - historic faults including repaired doves wing to the gentleman's figure, porcelain stress lines around the hat brim, wear and minor losses to the painted surface, would benefit from attentions, losses various around the female figure floral swag and encrusted flowers to the urn, stress lines to the surface of the porcelain and the hat brim, restoration to chips and damages around the hat brim, please see detailed additional images including but not limited to these faults attached as a guide.
