Victorian framed hand drawn draughtsman's technical drawing of a steam ship as designed by John Elder & Co. Ship Builders and Engineers of Govan, Glasgow. Trading as John Elder & Co between 1869 and 1886, they were one of the largest ship builders of their day producing some of the largest ships then afloat. This drawing of the upper decks is from an un-named vessel. O-all frame size 121cms x 56cms
