A 19th century diamond brooch/pendant, the central old cut diamond within stylised flowerhead, encompassed by star burst motif further set with old cut diamonds, with detachable hinge pin and pendant loop to reverse, 4cm wide, 9gms, total diamond weight estimated 2.60ct

Brooch would benefit from a clean.
Diamonds all present, well matched in colour, bright and lively.
Principle diamonds show inclusions under x10 loupe, however all diamonds appear clean to the naked eye.
Screw mechanism is good working condition.
Pendant fitting appears to be a later addition.
Claws are low to a few of the principle diamonds.
Repair/lead residue seen to the reverse of the brooch, to the central motif, beside the screw fitting.
Metal mount with surface blemishes and scratches, commensurate with age and wear.
Hinge pin with minor bend
Central diamond spreads just over 0.33ct.
Further surrounds of diamonds spread between 0.10 - 0.15ct, with further rose cut diamonds.
