D'ANGLETERRE" MARK ON SOLDIER's COVER, BRITISH NAVAL ORDER, TAX PAMPHLET, ETC.; 22 April 1798 EL from an army farrier(?) in "Caen" to his father (?), a judge in Alby charged "14" (dec.) with a mainly fine rare black "Don. D/ARM. D'ANGLETERRE" on the front; plus 5 May 1802 pamphlet giving the text of "BULLETIN DES LOIS DE LA REPUBLIQUE No.298" incl. para. 2967 ref. fur=dung armaments for the Army of England, and 4/11 July 1808 part printed British Naval Orders signed by "[Admiral] Gambier" (Channel Fleet C-in-C) on HMS 'Ville de Paris' and sent to Admiral Duckworth on HMS 'Royal George' announcing that hostilities with Spain have ended with immediate effect.
