A GILT BRONZE ECUMENICAL COUNCIL MEDAL AND FOUR OTHER RELIGIOUS MEDALS. A gilt Bronze Medal, The Pope and Cardinals seated around a table, the exurge 'Concile Ecumenique 1869', reverse with the Pope spreading the word throughout the land, 5.4cm. A Medal commemorating Pope Pius X, 4.4cm. A novelty token with the Pope and the Devil with reversible faces on the same side of a 2.6cm token, possibly 18th century. A gilt medal celebrating Innocent XI, and a fine Bronze 'Sacramental Test Abolished' medal by Clint, 1828. 5 medals. *CR: Mixed, gilt surfaces rubbed, others good. *BP 22.5% (18.75% plus VAT) plus a lot fee of £8 inc. VAT on each lot.
