A 19th Century Copeland cabinet plate of circular form with pierced rim, decorated to the central well with a titled scenic view of Newark Castle depicting figures by a lake side with building to the distance, within a pale blue and gilded border, printed mark, width 23cm, together with a similar example depicting a shepherd and sheep to a woodland setting within pierced and gilded border.
