Volunteer Long Service Medal EVII Adapted into Menu Card Holder, for use in officer's mess. Medal awarded to 7196 CPL J E Beevers 2nd WR of York REV. Corporal Beevers would have served for at least twenty consecutive years to qualify for the award. His unit the 2nd Yorkshire (West Riding) Engineer Volunteer Corps was formed in 1861 and was eventually absorbed into the new Territorial Force in 1908.
