A Dutch walnut marquetry bureau bookcase. 18th century, the glazed upper part with angled sides and fitted three shaped shelves, the lower part of bombe shape, fitted a fall front enclosing a door, drawers, and compartments, with three long drawers below, on bracket feet, height 307cm, width 125cm, depth 60cm. The bureau has some older restoration. There is a split across the fall, but this is stable, the split is also visible internally on one side. There is a split on the right side, along with a few veneer losses, and some veneer lifting, especially around the feet. The handles are replacements.
