Regarding Jewellery of the Earls of Dysart of Ham House, Richmond

Manuscript:
Copy of inventory dated 8 August 1888, compiled for probate purposes, of the Dysart Diamond and other Jewellery, valued at £917. With receipt dated 22 December 1889 stating that "Dysart Katherine Huntington received from Hon. Algernon Gray Tollemache, surviving trustee and executor of the will of Hon. Laura Maria Grattan (Lady Grattan) the pearl necklace bequeathed to deceased by her grandmother Louisa late Countess of Dysart, and the ring containing a miniature of Grace Carteret Countess of Dysart.
As a Scottish peerage, the Dysart title could pass through the female one; at this time it was held by the Tollemache family. Laura Maria Grattan, nee Tollemache, was the wife of James Grattan, son of the Irish stateman Henry Grattan.
