A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH 1831 PATTERN SIDE ARM AND SCABBARD. An Artilleryman's side arm with a 48.5cm pointed blade, indistinctly marked to both sides. With a brass grip with reeded grip and ringed decoration to the cross bar. In brass mounted leather scabbard stamped 891 and 149 to the top. 66cm overall. *CR In unrestored condition with light rust to blade and marking to all surfaces.
